‘George was one of the funniest, lovable guys who would do anything for you’.

That is one of the many tributes paid to 19-year-old George Milton after he died in a crash in Southampton.

Marcel Cullers, Managing Director of Security Nation, said he is ‘absolutely devastated’ by George's death. The pair had worked together for nearly two years.

In a heartfelt tribute to George, Mr Cullers said he had a lovely relationship with the teenager, with the pair enjoying a lot of ‘banter’.

He said: “We trained him, I trained him. George was only with me last week at an event. He was one of our up-and-coming young lads at the company.

“George was genuinely one of the funniest lads we ever had working with us. He was daft as well.

“We had a great laugh. He would do anything for you.

“It was only last week George told me he wanted to take his driving test.

“He used to smile his cheeky grin and I’d roll my eyes.”

Mr Cullers said George is going to be ‘massively missed’ by everyone in the company.

He said: “George had a cheeky, teenage grin.

“We knew he was smiling because he was going to do something dumb.

“He was lovely and he’s going to be massively missed.

“For such a young man with so much potential, to be taken too soon is horrific.

“We are absolutely devastated by this news.

“George was truly loved by everyone who worked here.”

Daily Echo:

Friend and colleague Gemma Bennett said George was 'one of a kind'.

She said: "He was the light of the party, he was the class clown, he had the biggest heart and lived life to the max each day.

"George was there for everyone and was always laughing.

"He’ll be remembered for his random whistling and popping his gum.

"He is loved by so many and taken too soon.

"He partied hard and we will continue that with him in spirit."

Friend Charlie Houghton added: "George was honestly like a brother to me, straight away from when we first met he had my back in and out of work.

"I couldn’t ask for a better brother/friend. I'm going to be so lost without him by my side."

Mr Cullers also paid tribute to George on Facebook, with hundreds of people sharing their condolences on his post.

Many described the news as a 'tragedy' with others saying he was 'taken far too young'.

Chris Over said: "Rest easy George such a good lad.

"The circumstances couldn’t be any more awful sending all my love to each and every one of you at Security Nation."

Jai Jai Wheels commented: "This is such sad news.

"A cheeky chap with massive potential to have a great career now gone."

Officers were called to Portswood Road in the early hours of Monday morning following a crash involving a motorbike and a number of parked vehicles.

George, from Eastleigh, was taken to hospital but sadly died a short time later.

His family are being supported by specialist officers.

Officers are urging anyone with information to report online via Hampshire Constabulary’s website, or call 101, quoting reference 44230327533.

Please share your tributeOh George Where do I begin, George was a happy go lucky cheeky lad with an infectious smile he would literally light up a room as soon as he'd walk in If you were feeling low he'd definitely have you smiling again within minutes, George wasn't like your average 19 yr old he was well respected within the security industry by all of his colleagues he was hard working and would do anything for anyone, he was always having a laugh and joking around and being silly but that was George and his character he was such a nice lad he'll be sorely missed by me and all who knew him my heart goes out to his family and friend at the such difficult time, his mum and dad should be so proud of the man they raised as he had a heart of gold. RIP GEORGE UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN BROTHER FLY HIGH MATE 🩵

What are your memories of him?Always had a smile on his face , ready for anything, he used to really annoy me by popping his gum really loudly and he knew it did so he would always do it , on the door we always used to have deep chats about girls , life and anything really , he never failed to make me laugh , I always knew it was going to be a good shift when he was there .

Please share your tributeWe were working a particular door that is open quite late , it was about half 4 in the morning, knackered , my energy and spirit was low , but his never was he was still laughing and joking like it was the start of the shift , he was trying to get a smile or laugh out of me saying “ahh are you tired” in a stupid voice , obviously he succeeded and shortly after we took this photo , a little memory but I think it’s my favourite and I’ll never forget the grin on his face .
