Train passengers are being warned there will be disruption on Saturday as planned strikes are set to go ahead.
A ‘significantly reduced’ timetable will be in place for services to and from Southampton.
Some lines will be closed and trains will only run from 7am to 7pm.
Short-term cancellations are possible.
Industrial action will affect journeys to events in the Southampton area such as Southampton Pride and Saints' match against Queen’s Park Rangers, which kicks off at 3pm at St Mary's.
The nationwide strike by members of the RMT union will see a reduced service across the network with last train departing earlier than usual.
The last train from Southampton Central to London Waterloo will depart at around 5.45pm.
As on previous RMT strike days, there will be no services on the lines between Woking and Portsmouth Harbour via Guildford, or between Eastleigh and Portsmouth Harbour via Fareham.
Stuart Meek, Chief Operating Officer at South Western Railway, said: "We’re sorry that customers will once again face disruption due to strike action by the RMT union.
"Once again, I must ask our customers to only travel if absolutely necessary on Saturday 26 August. If you do have to travel, please check your entire journey as these strikes also affect other train operators.
"A large number of events take place on Saturday 26 August and while some trains will be running, we expect them to be very busy. If you’re travelling to one of those events, please check before you travel and consider alternative transport if possible.
"We’re thankful for our customers’ patience during these latest RMT strikes."
The ASLEF union has announced strike action on Friday September 1 and a ban on overtime working on top of the RMT union’s strike action on Saturday September 2.
