Drugs and weapons were found by police following a raid this morning.

Officers carried out a warrant at an address on Aldermoor Road in Southampton at 8.30am this morning.

A quantity of suspected drugs was found as well as mobile phones and weapons.

Officers used a rapid entry tactic to gain entry with the ‘big red key’, waking two occupants who were then detained.

The investigation led officers to a second address on Lower Brownhill Road where three people were detained and one arrested for drugs offences.

One person was arrested but later de-arrested while enquiries are ongoing.
