A man wearing a balaclava was spotted riding dangerously by police.

Officers out on patrol in Southampton saw an orange trials bike being ridden at speed along Aldermoor Road.

It was being driven by a man wearing a balaclava with a pillion passenger wearing all grey.

Whilst searching for the bike, officers discovered a group of young men on motorbikes in Longleat Gardens in Coxford.

One of the males in the group was wanted for a grievous bodily harm (GBH) offence against a young person.

A 16-year-old man from Southampton has been arrested on suspicion of GBH and is in custody.

Officers also carried out a warrant at an address in Aldermoor Road today.

A quantity of suspected drugs was found as well as mobile phones and weapons.

One person was arrested but later de-arrested while enquiries are ongoing.
