A DRIVER has been fined after being caught speeding at 47mph on the M27 near Southampton.
Jharnail Singh Landa was clocked travelling at 47mph along the eastbound M27 between junctions five and seven.
He was behind the wheel of a Toyota and a 40mph variable speed limit was in place.
Landa, 33, of Bassett Avenue, Southampton was caught by an automatic camera close to West End on October 8 last year.

Appearing at Southampton Magistrates' Court this month he admitted one count of exceeding a variable speed limit.
Magistrates fined him £71 and issued him with three penalty points on his licence.
No order was made for court costs though Landa must pay a £29 surcharge.
This must be paid by September 14 at the latest.
