Greggs has submitted a planning application to open a new store in Hedge End.
The UK's favourite pasty place is looking to open a new venue at the site of the former Pizza Hut, and current Gourmet 4 Kitchen and Bar, at Hedge End Trade Park.
A spokesperson from Greggs confirmed the new shop is set to open later this year.
Further details will be revealed closer to the time.
It comes after planning chiefs approved an application to build a drive-thru Greggs bakery and an electric vehicle charging station at Adanac Park in Nursling.

The application itself details replacing the existing front doors with new ones and replacing the existing sign with the iconic blue and orange logo.
It also details the installation of two double A/C units and two extract grills.
A decision on the application is expected in October.
The new plans are not set to significantly alter the building.
