A Halifax branch in Southampton is set to close next month due to falling footfall.
The bank has announced it will close its branch on Shirley High Street on September 26.
The bank said that 77 per cent of its personal customers already use other ways of banking, such as over the phone or internet banking.
According to Halifax, branch transactions at the Shirley branch fell by more than 60 per cent between 2018 and 2023.
It comes after Barclays and Lloyds Banking Group, which includes Halifax and Bank of Scotland, announced more than 60 branch closures between them.

The bank said it is contacting customers to let them know about alternative local banking services available.
The nearby Post Office on Shirley Avenue has been mentioned as an alternative, offering personal and business customers everyday baking services, access to cash and paying in cheques.
The nearest ATM is also a short walk away and there are three free-to-use ATM machines within a quarter of a mile of the closing branch.
