AN INQUEST has opened into the death of a man who died days after being found at a Southampton footbridge.
Curtis Allen, 29, of Lennox Close, Southampton, died at Southampton General Hospital on August 21.

He had been admitted to the hospital on August 18, after he was found at a footbridge over Tanner's Brook.
As reported, police vehicles were spotted parked in nearby Goldcrest Gardens as officers and paramedics attended. The incident happened just before 8.20pm.
The preliminary cause of death has been given as a brain injury.
Area coroner Jason Pegg adjourned the inquest at Winchester Coroner's Court. A full inquest is scheduled for August 20 next year.
