Those attending have been asked to not keep money in visible spots and to be mindful of open bags.
In a post shared on the New Forest Heart Police Facebook page, the force said: “Don’t keep money in an outside pocket, keep bags closed and secure at all times, carry bags in front of you across your chest and consider using a money belt that you can wear under your clothes.
“Any advice we can give you is really all common sense but please remember pickpockets are good at what they do, so make it as difficult for them as possible.”
