Searching for houses in Eastleigh, like much of the UK, can be quite a tricky task, especially with house prices almost continually on the rise.
You might wonder what one of the cheapest properties is that you can buy in the county, excluding options such as shared ownership or a retirement home.
If you're looking for a property on the lower end of the price scale in the Eastleigh area, then Zoopla may have an option for you.
A two-bedroom terraced house on Twyford Road is listed on Zoopla for £260,000 and is described as "a great first time buy or investment property".

On its Zoopla page, it says: "Stanford Estate Agents are delighted to offer this, two double bedroom, mid terrace house located within walking distance to Eastleigh Town Centre and its array of amenities, the mainline train station and popular commuter links."
The property is described as a "lovely cottage style home" which offers "versatile living" accommodation.
On the ground floor, there are two reception rooms with the back room benefitting further from a log burner.
The first reception room of the property can act as a dining room, with it currently having a sofa alongside a small table and some chairs.
Meanwhile, the second room is utilised more as a living room with it being shown to have a couple of sofas, a TV and the aforementioned log burner.
Also on the ground floor of the home is a reasonably sized kitchen with white wall and floor units.
Additionally, the pictures show it to have an oven, extractor fan hood and sink.
Heading to the upstairs of the home there are two double bedrooms and a bathroom.
Externally, there is a garden mostly laid to lawn with two entertaining/hardstanding areas at either end.
There is an original coal store shed at the end making for "useful, secure storage".
The Zoopla profile adds: "This delightful property would make a great first time buy or investment property and we expect good levels of interest so advise an early viewing to avoid future disappointment."
