The following cases have been heard at Southampton Magistrates' Court.
ANDREW SPENCER, 39, of Davis Field, New Milton pleaded guilty to racially or religiously aggravated common assault or beating and racially or religiously aggravated fear or provocation of violence by words or writing. He was given a one-year community order with an alcohol treatment requirement, 10 days of rehabilitation activity and an £80 fine. He must also pay compensation of £100, £85 court costs and a £114 surcharge.
THOMAS BOLTON, 22, of Spring Road, Southampton admitted failing to provide a specimen for analysis, driving without a licence on Millbrook Road West and driving without insurance. He was in a Vauxhall Insignia at the time. Bolton was given a community order until February 22, 2025, and was disqualified from driving for 28 months. He must complete 30 days of rehabilitation activity, and pay a £100 fine plus £85 court costs.

MARCO MONTEIRO, 57, of Jarvis Fields, Bursledon pleaded guilty to racially or religiously aggravated intentional harassment, alarm or distress. He was given a one-year community order with an alcohol treatment requirement, 12 days of rehabilitation activity and a £150 fine. He must also pay £100 compensation and £200 court costs.
CHRISTOPHER TOLFREY, 33, of no-fixed-abode pleaded guilty to two counts of theft having stolen £30.55 worth of food and washing detergent and £95.50 worth of meat from Co-Op in Southampton. He was remanded in custody to appear at the same court on September 13 for sentencing.
MARLEY MORRISON, 31, of Benhams Road, Southampton admitted possessing an offensive weapon in a public place, namely a knuckle duster. Morrison was given a one-year community order with an alcohol treatment requirement, 20 days of rehabilitation activity and a £65 fine. An order was made for forfeiture and destruction of the knuckle duster. Morrison must also pay court costs of £85 and a £114 surcharge.
