Four people were injured in an 'awful' crash that caused widespread delays on the M27.
The three-car crash on the A31 eastbound between Picket Post and Stoney Cross saw the road shut for hours.
Families missed get-togethers, flights and one person even missed a wedding.

Describing the scene on Facebook, one woman said: "I hope all the people involved are okay it looked awful as we drove past."
The A31 reopened at around 12.45pm on Saturday after drivers got of their vehicles in 30C heat while waiting.
Hampshire police previously declined to release details of injuries other than to say a person was taken to hospital.

But a spokesman has now confirmed four people were injured.
He said: "Four people suffered minor injuries; a woman in her 20s, two men in their 20s, and a woman in her 50s who was taken to hospital."
He added: “If anyone witnessed this collision and has not already contacted the police, please call 101 quoting reference 44230367136.”
