The following cases have recently been heard at Southampton Magistrates' Court.

RAVI PARMAR, 41, of Wilton Road, Southampton was found guilty of failing to give information relating to the identification of a driver or rider when required in Netley. This related to the driver of an Audi A6 who was alleged to be guilty of an offence. Sentencing was adjourned until January 11, 2024, at the same court.

ALI SADDIQUE, 21, of Lower North Street, Walsall admitted driving without a licence and driving without insurance. He was behind the wheel of a Skoda Octavia along the M3 near Eastleigh at the time. Saddique was disqualified from driving for 12 months and fined £120. He must pay court costs of £110 and a £48 surcharge.

FLORJAN LESHI, 28, of South Parade, Southsea, pleaded guilty to a single charge of driving without insurance on Portswood Road, Southampton. He was behind the wheel of a Vauxhall Insignia at the time. Leshi was disqualified from driving for six months and received six penalty points on his licence. He was also fined £400 and must pay court costs of £110 plus a £160 surcharge. 

SARAH ALLISON, 47, of Titchfield Road, Titchfield pleaded guilty to exceeding a 30mph speed limit. She was clocked at 43mph on the A32 Warnford Road in Corhampton whilst driving a Mercedes. Allison was fined £72 and received three penalty points. She must also pay a £28 surcharge.

ANDRZEJ JASZCZUROWSKI, 40, of Northumberland Road, Southampton admitted driving whilst disqualified and driving without insurance on Alfred Street, Southampton whilst behind the wheel of a Vauxhall Insignia. He was given a one-year community order with 80 hours of unpaid work. Jaszczurowski was also disqualified for 17 months and must pay court costs of £85 plus a £114 surcharge.
