The following cases have been heard at Southampton Magistrates' Court...

DAMILARE FAGBEMI, 31, of Warburton Close, Southampton admitted driving without insurance, driving whilst disqualified and speeding. He was clocked at 35mph on Bitterne Road West whilst driving a BMW. Fagbemi was disqualified from driving for 77 days and fined £448. He must also pay a £179 surcharge. 

KARL REID, 36, of Whitebeam Road, Hedge End pleaded guilty to drink driving on Whitebeam Road. He was caught with 100 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of breath. Reid was given a one-year community order with 15 rehabilitation days and a 26-month driving ban. He must also pay a £1,033 fine, £85 towards court costs and a £114 surcharge. 

PAUL MARCER, 44, of Hollman Drive, Romsey pleaded guilty to failing to provide a specimen for analysis in Southampton. He was banned from driving for 17 months and fined £640. Marcer must pay court costs of £85 and a £256 surcharge.

CHRISTOPHER BRIGGS, 43, of Macarthur Crescent, Southampton was found guilty of harassment and assault by beating. He was given a two-year community order with 30 days of rehabilitation activity and a £480 fine. Briggs must also pay court costs of £620, a surcharge of £114 and is subject to a community order. 

KIRSTY TIPPEN, 35, of Ashurst Close, Southampton admitted one charge of assault by beating. She was given a two-year conditional discharge and must pay £300 compensation. Tippen must also pay court costs of £85.

IAN URQUHART, 47, of Manor House, Stoney Cross pleaded guilty to drink driving on the A31 westbound between Stoney Cross and Burley. He was caught with 101 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of breath. Urquhart was given a one-year community order with 20 rehabilitation days and 80 hours of unpaid work. He was banned from driving for 25 months and must pay £85 court costs and a £114 surcharge.
