A search has been launched for witnesses after a fight involving 15 teenagers in a Southampton park.
The fight on Hinkler Green in Thornhill took place at around 6.50pm yesterday (Saturday, September 16).
Officers believe around 15 teenagers were involved with some likely sustaining injuries.
Those involved had left the scene by the time officers arrived, prompting a police appeal for further information.
In a statement, a spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary said: “We’re appealing for witnesses to an incident that took place in Thornhill.
“At around 6.50pm on Saturday 16 September, it was reported that a group of around 15 teenagers were involved in a fight on Hinkler Green.
“Police attended however the group had dispersed prior to the arrival of officers.”
“Enquiries are ongoing, and we believe that there may have been individuals who sustained injuries in the fight but have not spoken to police.
“We would like to hear from anyone who was assaulted, and anyone with information or who witnessed this incident take place."
