A Post Office in Shirley could relocate to a new location.
It is proposed the Shirley Warren premises could move from Thompsons on Warren Avenue to an empty funeral directors.
The potential new premises, formerly Beeston’s Funeral Directors, can be found at 13 to 15 Warren Avenue.
The Postmaster would refurbish the premises into a convenience store and Post Office, where it will continue to be operated by the same Postmaster.
A consultation has been launched for residents to share their thoughts on the proposed move.
Access to the store will close on November 7.
If the plans go ahead, there would be a Post Office serving point alongside the retail counter. The same products and services would be available.

A spokesperson from Post Office said: “Currently, there is a step at the entrance to the proposed premises, however, this step would be removed to provide level access for customers.
“As part of the full refurbishment a new shop frontage would be installed with wide automatic doors.”
Customers can share their views during the consultation online at postofficeviews.co.uk with the branch code 246546.
The opening hours of Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 6pm and Saturday, 9am to 12.30pm, would remain the same.
