A celebration of Chinese food and culture took place at the Centenary Restaurant at the University of Southampton.
The event included tutorials on how to make eccentric and traditional Chinese recipes, Chinese letter writing and a display of traditional fruit pit carving.
The event was attended by more than 70 people, who had a chance to write their names in Chinese letters and learn how to cook Chinese dumplings at home.
Centenary Restaurant owner Fengyue Liu said: "It was a pleasure to hold this event and celebrate our incredible Chinese food.
"My favourite part of the day was watching the incredible Mr Xu make his jaw-dropping works of art."
