A man has been ordered to pay more than £2,000 in compensation after an expletive was scratched into the bonnet of a car.
Jack Petley, 18, was ordered to pay £2,570 in compensation after the Peugeot 107 was damaged in Whiteley.
It was reported to police that the car had been keyed on both sides with an expletive scratched into the bonnet.

The front licence plate was also stolen from the vehicle at Whitley Shopping Centre.
Appearing at Portsmouth Magistrates' Court, Petley of Gosport Road, Fareham pleaded guilty to criminal damage and theft from a motor vehicle.
As well as compensation, he was given a 12-month conditional discharge.
The incident took place on August 2 this year.
