A man has appeared in court after stealing more than £300 worth of alcohol in just one week.
Ian Howell, 46, took £340.75 worth of alcohol from Tesco on three separate occasions.
On May 22 he stole booze worth £117.
Four days later he took £123.75 worth of alcohol from Tesco in Eastleigh and another £100 the following day.

He pleaded guilty to three counts of theft from a shop at Southampton Magistrates' Court.
Howell, of Clovelly Road, Southampton was given a community order to run until April 11, 2025.
This included 12 days of rehabilitation activity and 60 hours of unpaid work.
He must pay £340.75 worth of compensation.
