Construction of a five-bedroom house and a new building for a college are among the planning applications submitted to the council this week.

The applications to Eastleigh Borough Council in the week starting October 10 include various requests.

Recent planning applications include:

  • Discharge of condition application for condition 10 (landscaping) of planning permission for the construction of a two-storey building to accommodate Barton Peveril College's Art and Design School.
  • Construction of five bedroom end-of-terrace dwelling, incorporating existing ground floor addition, with associated parking and external amenity space at Underwood Road in Bishopstoke.
  • Demolition of garage to create single storey side extension with two storey rear extension at Coultas Road in Chandler’s Ford. Addition of home gym garden building in replacement of existing sheds at the rear of the garden.
  • Dropped kerb on classified road in Nightingale Avenue in Eastleigh.
  • Construction of part three-storey, part two-storey building to provide 18 flats and a ground floor retail unit at Queens View in Netley Abbey. This is following demolition of existing building, to include vehicle access, parking, landscaping and footpath access to recreation ground.
  • Installation of a walk-in- freezer to North-West corner of Capstan House in Hamble.
