AN inquest has opened into the death of a man who died after suffering a fall outside Southampton General Hospital.
Jose Carvallo Castro, 81, of Vine Road, was visiting the hospital on Tremona Road for an appointment on May 28.
However, he suffered a fall outside the building. He was admitted by paramedics, before sadly dying at the hospital on the same day.

Assistant coroner Sarah Whitby opened and adjourned the inquest at Winchester Coroners Court on Thursday, October 19.
The initial cause of death has been given as Bronchopneumonia, Cerebral Hematoma, and injuries caused by a fall.
The full inquest will be held on September 24 next year.
