Maybush is the hardest place in Hampshire for learners to pass their driving test, new research has revealed.
Southampton Maybush Driving Test Centre, in Green Lane, has a pass rate of just 44.52 per cent.
Of the 6491 tests conducted there between January and June, 2890 candidates passed.
Basingstoke has the highest pass rate in Hampshire at 61.29 per cent.
Electronic car part remanufacturer, Actronics Ltd, analysed Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency data to determine which UK driving test centres were the hardest and easiest to pass at.
They looked at how many tests were taken and passed between January and June of 2023 to calculate the pass rate for each test centre.
The most difficult test centre in the UK was Speke in Liverpool, with a 33.16 per cent pass rate, with the easiest place to pass a test Ballater in Scotland where 79.49 per cent pass.
There were 857,336 driving tests conducted in the UK in the first six months of this year, resulting in 414,636 - or 48.36 per cent of them - passes.
