A woman has been arrested after an attempted smuggling of cannabis through the post.
Officers in the Winchester City Neighbourhood Policing team responded to the reports of a woman trying to send a parcel through the post with a strong smell of cannabis yesterday.
The parcel was intercepted and seized.
A search of an address in Winchester was then carried out where several cannabis plants were found.

A 52-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a Class B drug and of cultivation of Class B drugs.
In a post shared on the force’s Facebook page, it said: “We are committed to the relentless pursuit of criminals and preventing the illegal supply of controlled substances onto the streets of Winchester.”
