The following speeding cases have been heard at Southampton Magistrates' Court...
MALGORZATA AUGUSTYN, 40, of Belmont Road, Southampton pleaded guilty to exceeding a temporary 50mph speed restriction on a motorway, namely the M3. They were caught driving a Toyota at 76mph between junctions 12 and 11 near Winchester. Augustyn was driving northbound at the time. They were fined £240 and received six penalty points. They must also pay £110 court costs and a £96 surcharge.
CHRISTOPHER BARNES, 41, of Holbury Drove, Holbury admitted speeding on the M27 westbound between junctions eight and seven near Hedge End. He was driving a Volkswagen when he was clocked at 113mph by an automatic speed camera. Barnes was banned from driving for 56 days and fined £484. He was ordered to pay court costs of £110 and a £194 surcharge.

HARRY GARMAN, 18, of Winsor Road, Southampton pleaded guilty to speeding on the eastbound M27 between junctions five and seven. He was behind the wheel of a Ford when he was clocked at 96mph by an automatic speed camera. Garman was fined £216 and received four penalty points. He must also pay £110 court costs and an £86 surcharge.
CHRISTOPHER MACKENZIE, 69, of Grove Mill Lane, Watford admitted to exceeding a temporary 50mph speed restriction on the M3 near Winchester. He was driving a Range Rover when he was clocked at 69mph. Mackenzie was banned from driving for six months and received four points on his licence. He must pay a £440 fine, £110 court costs and a £176 surcharge.
WAJID ANWAR, 37, of Derby Road, Southampton pleaded guilty to speeding on Bitterne Road West in Bitterne. He was caught by manned speeding equipment at 42mph in a BMW on the 30mph road. Anwar was fined £308 and received four penalty points. He was ordered to pay court costs of £110 and a £123 surcharge.
