In the wake of Storm Ciarán, Southampton is expecting much improved weather conditions on Friday with sunny intervals expected.
Southampton may even see glimpse of sunshine on Friday morning, with yellow weather warnings for wind and rain coming to a close at midnight on Thursday.
A spokesperson from the Met Office said: “Calmer and brighter Friday compared to Thursday, although still feeling breezy with isolated showers possible during the day, with some good clear periods developing overnight.
“Maximum temperature 13 °C.”
