Police have confirmed why emergency services rushed to Millbrook railway station on Saturday.
Three police cars and a police van were spotted at the entrance of the station on Mountbatten Way at around 5pm.
Several officers were also seen around the railway station.
Officers from British Transport Police (BTP) were responding to reports of a concern for welfare.
They were called to the station just before 4.30pm.
The woman involved was led away from the scene.
A BTP spokesperson said: "Officers were called to Millbrook railway station just before 4.30pm on Saturday 4 November following concern for the welfare of a woman. She was taken to a place of safety."
