Operators of Southampton's Christmas market say they are confident the popular attraction will be ready on time - despite the recent spate of stormy weather.
Construction of the traditional wooden chalets has coincided with Storm Ciaran and other bursts of wet and windy conditions.
But S&D Leisure is forecasting that everything will be ready when the annual crowd-pleaser opens on Thursday, November 16.
A company spokesperson said: "Despite Storm Ciaran hitting the south coast, the build for this year's market is well underway.
"S&D Leisure arrived in the city bringing the first of the festive set-up, including the traditional wooden chalets that will house a range of seasonal traders.
"With gusts of up to 40mph, work for the installation was conducted slowly, but organisers are confident that everything will be in place for the opening."

The market in Above Bar and Guildhall Square will see more than 30 traders selling a raft of goods ranging from scented candles and soaps to chutneys, cheeses, and sweets. A wide selection of food and drink will also be available.
Thrill-seekers with a head for heights will be able to board AtmosFear, which swings riders 80ft into the sky whilst spinning 360 degrees.
They can also hop aboard the world's tallest mobile bungee, Snowball Launcher, which catapults riders 55m into the air.
The Christmas Fun House will feature rides suitable for children and toddlers, whilst the traditional carousel will offer rides for the whole family. And for the first time, a spectacular light show will illuminate the city's historic Bargate every evening.
With the exception of Christmas Day, the market will be open from 10am until 10pm every day until Tuesday, January 2.
The 2022 event was thrown into doubt when Wela Markets, suddenly pulled out, but S & D Leisure saved the day by stepping in at the last moment. The company later announced it would also be running this year's attraction.

Last month the city council said bids were being sought from experienced operators interested in running the event from 2025.
A city council spokesperson said: "Southampton’s Christmas Market attracts residents and visitors from across the region and enables them to experience a range of festive and cultural activities as well as international foods, goods, and crafts.
“It has become a popular event in the seasonal calendar and supports the local economy, boosting footfall, sales, small businesses, and creates new job opportunities."
