An arson investigation has been launched after a car was set alight in Weston.
Police are appealing for witnesses after a Ford Fiesta was seen burning on Sunday morning on Hawkhurst Close.
Police were called out by firefighters shortly before 1am.
They believe the car was set alight intentionally and are treating it as an arson.
Anyone who was in or around Hawkhurst Close between 12.45am and 1am and saw anything suspicious is asked to get in touch.
Police say they are particularly keen to hear from a man who was seen in the area at the time, who they believe may have information to assist their enquiries.
He was wearing light-coloured clothing and was carrying a Bag for Life from The Range.
A spokesperson for Hampshire police said: “Were you in the area at the time? Did you see a man in light-coloured clothing carrying a Bag for Life from The Range?
"Perhaps you were driving through Hawkhurst Close or the surrounding areas and have dash cam footage which may assist our investigation?
“Or maybe you live in the area and have CCTV or Ring Doorbell footage that may have captured something?”
Anyone with information is asked to call 101 quoting reference 44230462504.
