A man has admitted he burgled a house and stole a car from a driveway in Fareham.
Max Plaister, 21, of no fixed address, appeared at Portsmouth Crown Court on Monday where he pleaded guilty to burglary and theft of a motor vehicle relating to an incident in Beaumont Rise, Fareham, on June 7 this year.
A house was broken into, and a Vauxhall Mokka was stolen from the driveway.
The vehicle was located and recovered by police in Thatcher’s Copse car park in Titchfield on June 9.
Police confirmed that forensic enquiries linked Plaister to the vehicle.

At the hearing, Plaister also pleaded guilty to attempted burglary and theft from a motor vehicle relating to an incident in Bye Road, Swanwick, on October 9 of this year.
Plaister accessed a car and stole a key from inside, before unsuccessfully making attempts to gain access to a house using the key.
Following the hearing, Plaister was remanded in custody to appear at Portsmouth Crown Court on Friday, January 5.
