Police want to hear from anyone who saw a man who attempted to break into a flat.
It happened between at Blake Court in South Street, Gosport, between 2:50pm and 3:10pm on Monday, November 13.
Police received a report that a man gained access to the communal area of the building before trying to force his way into a flat.
The man is described as being in his late 30s or early 40s, around 5ft 7in, average build, with black hair that was short and the sides and "choppy" on the top. He was wearing a dark-coloured shirt and is of Indian or Middle Eastern appearance.
A police spokesperson said: "We would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed this incident or recognises the man.
"We would also like to hear from anyone who saw a man matching this description acting suspiciously in the area or anyone with dashcam, CCTV or doorbell camera footage that could help us in our investigations."
