A man has been released on bail after he denied a string of suspicious incidents in the Portswood area of Southampton.
Mamadou Sadio Diallo appeared at Southampton Magistrates’ Court today after being charged with three counts of assault and one count of possessing a sharp-pointed article in a public place.
The charges come after police were made aware of three sightings overnight on Monday and Tuesday of a man acting suspiciously.
It was reported that a man had been seen threatening two young women with a pair of scissors and acting in a verbally abusive manner.
