Severe delays have hit a ferry service following the discovery of a fault.
Red Osprey has been pulled from service due to a fault on the propulsion unit.
Passengers travelling to and from the Isle of Wight from Southampton now face delays of up to three hours.

Red Funnel has confirmed that their 10.30am and 1.30pm sailings from Southampton and midday sailing from East Cowes have been cancelled.
A spokesperson said: “Due to the withdrawal of the Red Osprey, we are now operating a one boat service, with severe delays for all booked vehicle traffic of up to three hours.
“We do apologise for any inconvenience caused.”
