Fire crews responded to a "small fire" at a Southampton takeaway.
Crews from St Mary's and Redbridge were alerted to the fire around 7pm yesterday at Corniche restaurant on Burgess Road.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus were able to stop the fire in an exterior extraction flue using a hose reel jet.
There are unconfirmed reports that customers were evacuated, and six fire engines were at the scene.
The stop message came in at 7.45pm.
