Police are appealing for information after a burglary in which doors and furniture were trashed.
It happened at Thornham Road in New Milton between 9.30pm on Wednesday, November 15 and 7am the next day.
A police spokesperson said: "The front door and front windows were smashed in order to gain entry to the property.
"Once inside, further damage has been caused to internal doors, a mirror and a television. A Samsung tablet was stolen during the burglary.
"We’d like to hear from anyone with any information which might assist in our investigation, including the current whereabouts of the tablet.
"Please get in touch if you witnessed any suspicious activity in the area at the time of the incident.
"We have already been made aware of a silver Volvo acting suspiciously in the area shortly before midnight. Did you also see this vehicle, or do you have any CCTV of it?"
