A search is underway to find the next of kin for a man in his 60s who may have had family in Southampton.
John Gowland died in the Hendon area of Sunderland on November 18 this year aged 64.
The coroner for Sunderland is now seeking the assistance of the public to find the next of kin for Mr Gowland.

Coroner’s officer Andrew Weighill said: “It may be that John has family in the Nuneaton area of Warwickshire and Southampton.
“No more details are known other than he has at least one son and brothers.”
