A man is due in court after a woman reported her purse had been snatched following a suspected cold calling scam.
Larky Hughes, 21, is due to appear at Southampton Magistrates' Court today.
He is charged with burglary following an incident in Gosport on November 13.
It was reported that a man had gained entry to a house on Highfield Road by offering to provide a quote for gardening work.

After he left, the resident noticed that her purse and its contents had been stolen.
Hughes of The Spur, Wickham was remanded in custody.
A police spokesperson said: "We would like to encourage Gosport residents to stay vigilant to doorstop trader scams and report any suspicious behaviour to us."
