A niece has paid a heartfelt tribute to her uncle with ‘a very big heart’ after his passing.
Carly Morris described her uncle Keith Morris as a ‘generous’ man who was friends with everybody.
‘I saw him all the time, I was the closest family member to him’, she fondly recalled.
The 65-year-old decorator died after a medical episode on Redbridge Hill on Tuesday evening.
He was waiting to catch a bus to the pub when he suffered a cardiac arrest on the road, where he also lived.
Carly said: “Keith was a bright, bubbly person and he was quite upfront as well, he was too honest for his own good.
“But he was a family man as well and he idolised his mum - who recently passed – and really loved her.
“Keith lived down the pub after a day at work. He would go to The Salisbury Arms or Brass Monkey, and he was on his way to the pub when he died.”

Although Keith had no children of his own, he had three brothers and one sister, along with four nieces.
A true family man, according to Carly.
She said: “He was devoted to his family and absolutely adored them.
“I saw him all the time, I was the closest family member to him.
“I would see him down the pub or he would often call me.
“It was only last month we were drinking together after my nan’s funeral.
“We were very close.”
She added: “Keith had a lot of friends, including people he met down the pub.
“He was a social man and made friends with his work colleagues.
“No one has a bad word to say about him, he had such a big heart.
“He was a very generous man.”
Police were called to the scene on Redbridge Hill shortly before 5.30pm on Tuesday.
The ambulance service was also in attendance.
Tributes have flooded in for Keith since the news of his passing was announced.
A fundraiser has also been created to help fund the funeral costs.
