A woman has appeared in court accused of attempted murder after two young children were rescued from the River Itchen.
Rhonda Micetich, 31, was produced at Southampton Crown Court today.
She is accused of attempted murder after an incident near Cobden Bridge on Thursday, October 26.
Police were called at 3.38pm to reports a woman had gone into the river with two young children.
Emergency services attended and the woman and two children were pulled to safety.
Micetich, of Argyle Road, Southampton, was remanded in custody.
She is due to appear at the same court on April 9.
No pleas have been entered at this stage.
