I’m A Celebrity has apologised after accidentally liking a viewer’s comment about a campmate which “contained unacceptable language”.

The ITV programme said it also “seeks to champion all our campmates” and “urges users to be kind” on social media.

The apology on X, formerly known as Twitter, came a few hours after last night’s episode (December 1), which saw tensions rising as Nella Rose claimed Fred Sirieix had been making her life “hell” over his attitude to camp life including washing the dishes.

This Morning's Josie Gibson says she feels 'very guilty' for leaving her son

Meanwhile, on Friday’s show viewers also saw This Morning’s Josie Gibson admit she is feeling “very guilty” for leaving her little boy to appear on I’m A Celeb.

The 38-year-old Big Brother star was seen crying in the toilet before being comforted by campmate Danielle Harold, before explaining how she was missing her five-year-old son Reggie James.

“I just miss my little boy, I shouldn’t have ever left him this long,” an emotional Josie said.

Harold replied: “100% you should, you’re showing him that you’re a strong mum, strong woman. So proud of you babe.

“I hate seeing you upset. You’re the best mum.”

In the Bush Telegraph, Josie went on to say: “Just had a little wobble. You just feel very guilty. I’ll never leave him this long again, ever.”

I’m A Celebrity returns to ITV1 and ITVX on Saturday, December 2 at 9.25pm.
