A fire service has described as “reckless behaviour” a man caught on camera catching a lift on the back of a fire engine.
Steve Ridley captured the moment the man clung onto the back of the engine as it was being driven across Gosport.
Sharing the video on Facebook, Steve said: “Welcome to Gosport… Well taxi prices have gone up I suppose.”

Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service said the man's actions “could have led to serious injuries or worse”.
The spokesperson added: “We know that most people understand that this kind of behaviour is dangerous and would not copy it."
The video sparked some funny comments from Facebook users.
Steve Connolly said: “He had a burning desire to get somewhere.”
