A developer has put in a planning bid to enlarge a previously approved care home.
Developer NL Care & Palace Capital (Signal) Ltd won approval last year for the proposed 75-bed care home in High Street, Fareham.
The application involves knocking down two office buildings to make way for the care home, which will include a cafe, a hair salon, lounges, dining areas, and quiet rooms.
An initial application was submitted to the council in May 2022, but came under the scrutiny of Fareham Council's planning committee.

At the committee meeting, issues such as noise impact, overbearing impact on neighbours and inadequate parking were all put forward.
Eight letters of objection were also received by Fareham Council, with the majority coming from those living in High Street. The plan was approved.
A submission on November 17 asks for permission to make changes to the approved scheme - including the external appearance of the building due to including four larger 'care suites'.
The rooms are due to be larger than standard care bedrooms.
Including these requires the building to increase in size, the applicant said.
A decision is expected this month.
