Several train services in Southampton have been hit by delays.
A track circuit failure between Southampton Central and St Denys resulted in trains running at a reduced speed on all lines.
Services running through these stations are cancelled, delayed, or revised.
Disruption is set to last until the end of the day as investigations into the issue continue.
South Western Railway apologised for the delays caused.
A spokesperson said: “We have been informed that there is a track circuit failure between Southampton Central and St Denys.
“This means that trains will be required to run at reduced speed on all lines towards St Denys.
“We are very sorry for any delay that this may cause to your journey.”
Those impacted by the delays have been offered rail replacement services on numerous buses.
These include: Bluestar 1 between Winchester and Southampton, Bluestar 5 between Eastleigh and Romsey, and Bluestar 23 between Eastleigh and Velmore (near Chandler's Ford).
The Stagecoach South 66 service between Romsey and Winchester is also included.
