Police have told a beggar in Shirley precinct that his behaviour is 'not welcome' as part of their daily patrols.
In an update by the Millbrook & Redbridge Neighbourhoods Policing Team on Facebook on Saturday, they said that the man was seen begging earlier that morning.
Officers gave him 'words of warning and advised his behaviour is not welcome'.

It was one of several incidents of note they dealt with that morning.
A man was arrested after a warrant was issued for his arrest when he failed to appear in court.
The team stopped a suspicious vehicle and spoke to the driver.
It soon became clear that the vehicle had no MOT or insurance. The vehicle was seized and the driver was made to do a drug wipe.
They were then arrested on suspicion of driving while under the influence of drugs.
