A German Shepherd died in a crash on the M27.
Police were called just after 8.30am yesterday to the scene of the accident, between Junction 10 for Wickham Road, Wickham, and Junction 9 for the A27 Segensworth link road to Segensworth and Fareham on the westbound carriageway.
The car crashed into the dog, believed to be a German Shepherd.

It is unclear how the animal ended up on the motorway, but police have identified the dog and contacted its owners.
As a result of the crash, three lanes of the M27 westbound were closed and traffic was halted temporarily, but got moving again within five minutes of the collision.
A badly-damaged car was seen to have crashed into the central reservation of the motorway.
But police confirmed there were no human injuries.
There was speculation on social media that the dead dog was a German Shepherd called Sasha, pictured above, who had gone missing from North Baddesley on Wednesday.
But its owners confirmed to the Echo that it was not their dog.
They are offering a £500 reward for information which you can find out more about here.
