A barber shop in the New Forest has closed suddenly.
Cape ‘n’ Comb, a ‘gentleman’s grooming’ business in Hythe, has apologised for having to shut.
It says this is due to "some staff" quitting their jobs "with no notice".
In a post shared on Facebook, a spokesperson for the business on Hollybank Crescent said: “We want to apologise to our wonderful customers for the current closure of Cape 'n' Comb and Dixies respectively and the recent unreliability.
“Unfortunately, some staff felt it appropriate to show a total disregard for the business and its clients by quitting immediately and with no notice.
“We can only apologise for the unprofessionalism of the previous team which has led to this situation.”
The post ended with a mention of “some exciting news” to come in the new year.
Cape 'n' Comb has been approached for more information.
