The famous Coca-Cola truck will be stopping in Hampshire this weekend as part of its annual festive tour of the UK.
The iconic red truck, which became famous as a result of the brand’s 1995 Christmas commercial, can be found in Gunwharf Quays in Portsmouth from 12pm to 8pm on Saturday.
It will then be going to the Whiteley Centre in Whiteley on Sunday, 17 December, from 10.30am to 4.30pm.
Guests can visit the Coca-Cola truck for free and visitors can expect to receive some free samples of the fizzy beverage before immersing themselves in the interactive experience.
Visitors will be welcomed by a walk-in, snow-filled bauble and iconic Coca-Cola truck, for the perfect holiday snapshot.
Throughout the tour, visitors will be able to listen to the Coca-Cola Christmas choir as they perform a set of carols.
Yvonne Clay, Centre Director at Gunwharf Quays, said: “We are thrilled to welcome the Coca-Cola truck to Gunwharf Quays this Christmas, and as this is the first time the truck has ever stopped at the shopping destination, we are particularly excited.
“Being able to offer our guests a fun and festive experience following a busy day of shopping and visiting our Christmas Village is a great pleasure.
“We are delighted to share the Christmas spirit with our community and beyond, thanks to Coca-Cola.”
This year, Coca-Cola has partnered with Neighbourly, a giving platform that provides support to local communities across the UK.
Coca-Cola and Neighbourly will be supporting the local communities across the cities the Coca-Cola Truck Tour will be visiting through a volunteering scheme and donation drive.
Florence Wheatley, Brand Manager at Coca-Cola Company in the UK, said: “Coca-Cola has been spreading Christmas cheer for decades and, this year, we’ve added even more exciting elements to make it as magical and merry as possible.
“Alongside the beloved return of the Truck Tour nationwide and the much loved 'Holidays Are Coming' advert, we have introduced new elements like the 'World Needs More Santas' TVC and an interactive Santa Quiz.
“We’re also thrilled to extend our partnership with Neighbourly, emphasising spreading kindness and making a positive impact across the UK.
“Together, we want to inspire year-round acts of goodwill and truly make a difference in all local communities."
