A man in his 20s has suffered serious injuries after a crash between a car and a moped in Southampton.
Thomas Lewis Way was closed in both directions last night after the incident involving a bronze Toyota and a black moped.
The rider of the moped, a man in his 20s from Bishopstoke, suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries.
The road was shut shortly after the incident at 6.10pm and remained closed for around two hours.

It took place northbound between the Portswood turn-off and Mayfield Road.
A spokesperson for Hampshire police said: “We were called at about 6.10pm yesterday to a collision on Thomas Lewis Way.
“This involved a black moped and a bronze Toyota Prius.
“The rider of the moped, a man in his 20s from Bishopstoke, suffered a serious but not life-threatening or life-changing injury.”
