The following cases have been heard at Southampton Magistrates' Court...

FIONA POPLETT, 46, of John Street, Southampton pleaded guilty to drink driving on Shirley Road. She was driving a black Fiat 500 when she was caught with 104 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of her breath. Poplett received a one-year community order with 18 rehabilitation days. She was banned from driving for 23 months and must pay an £86 fine, £85 court costs and a £114 surcharge. 

DANIEL PLUMHOFF, 52, of Ticonderoga Gardens, Southampton admitted racially or religiously aggravated intentional harassment, alarm or distress. He also admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress and criminal damage to a taxi. The offences all took place in Southampton. Plumhoff was jailed for eight weeks. 

JASON CRIDDLE, 43, of no fixed abode pleaded guilty to using threatening or abusive words or behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress and failing to comply with a section 35 direction excluding a person from an area. The offence took place at Above Bar Street in Southampton. Criddle was given a six-month conditional discharge.

GIHON ALI, 26, of Howell Close, Southampton admitted driving without insurance and driving whilst disqualified on Northam Road. Ali was banned from driving for ten months and must pay a £162 fine, £85 court costs and a £65 surcharge. 

TRAVIS TEXEIRA, 28, of Tatwin Crescent, Southampton pleaded guilty to possessing a controlled drug of Class B, namely ketamine. He must pay a £300 fine and £85 court costs. An order was made for the forfeiture and destruction of the drugs. 

RICKY LITTLE, 32, of College Road, Southampton admitted driving without insurance on Belmont Road. He was behind the wheel of a Ford Focus. Little must pay an £800 fine, £110 court costs and a £320 surcharge. He received six points on his licence.
