Hedge End has welcomed a new Barclays mobile van to help elderly residents and those without internet to manage their online bank.
The branch on Lower Northam Road in Hedge End permanently closed on Thursday, August 17, due to a decrease in footfall.
Eastleigh MP, Paul Holmes has been fighting to get Barclays to support the elderly in the Hedge End area who have struggled to adjust to the bank's online business model.
In a Facebook post after visiting the new mobile bank, the MP said over 40 people had visited last weekend.
