A motorcyclist has been killed in a crash with a pick up truck on a major Hampshire road.
The 33-year-old was riding a Lexmoto Diablo when he was involved in a collision with a Ford Ranger.
He died at the scene.
Police were called to the crash on Winchester Road, Bishop’s Waltham shortly after 7.20am.
A 43-year-old man from Bishop’s Waltham has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless and inconsiderate driving. He remains in police custody.
The family of the victim, who was from Clanfield, have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers.
Police closed the road to traffic as emergency services dealt with the incident, causing delays of around 40 minutes during rush hour.
According to the AA, the road has now reopened.
Officers are now appealing for anyone who may have seen the crash to come forward.
